Split is Dalmatia's biggest city and home to one of the most important historical monuments in Croatia – the Diocletian Palace, inscribed on UNESCO's list of protected world heritages.

In the past Split was mainly a connection point to the Dalmatian islands (Hvar, Brac, Vis...) and the Southern coast, however today this lively city is transforming itself more and more into an attractive tourist destination, offering a growing number of hotels for the conference & meeting industry.
